Todd Peckham, the founder of Mighty River Recycling, has been in the scrap recycling industry for over 20 years. He has operated as a ferrous broker since 1990 and began a modest trucking company in 2007. From that beginning, till now, Mighty River Recycling has grown to be one of St. Louis's leaders in ferrous and non-ferrous recyclers with 3 scrap yard locations. Mighty River Recycling currently provides all of the ferrous scrap to Amsted Rail, a steel foundry making railroad car-parts there for the rail industry. We are also an active member of ISRI, the national voice of the recycling industry, serving on its mid-America chapter as a board member.
