Millens Recycling has a long list of materials that are accepted for scrap recycling. Scrap metal is, simply, any item that is made up of more than half metal product. We typically separate metal recycling products into two distinct categories; ferrous and non ferrous metals. A very easy way to distinguish these metals from one another is by utilizing a simple tool that you will see used throughout our facility; a magnet. Ferrous metals have a magnetic property, while non ferrous do not. It is a this simple distinction that makes it quite easy to separate our two categories of scrap.

ROLL OFF CONTAINER INFORMATION

A roll-off container is an “open” top dumpster with a rectangular footprint, utilizing wheels to facilitate rolling the dumpster in place. These containers are transported to your location by special roll-off trucks. Roll-offs are commonly used for demolitions or clean-outs, where a container on site allows for easy accumulation of materials that may not be able to be hauled to our processing facility by other means, or may be easier to collect material over a period of time. Once containers are full of a specified material we will transport the material directly to our facility for processing. Millens has multiple roll-off container sizes available for your use.
