Electronics Recycling

Established in 1978, Windfield Alloy Inc. was focused was the refining and recovery of precious metals from electronic and manufacturing scrap. As our customer base grew, we realized that our customers’ recycling needs included materials that we did not handle and that our own operations were generating similar recyclable materials.In 1996, we expanded our operations into non-ferrous materials. Shortly afterwards, we added the Sierra T550 SL shear/baler/logger to our facilities, an equipment change that allowed us to process ferrous material as well. By partnering with Windfield Alloy Inc., customers are assured of receiving the highest return on their recyclable materials because we are a single source refining, recycling and reuse solution.

Facilities

Our facilities have full chemical refining capabilities, baling and logging capabilities for ferrous and non-ferrous metals recycling, and dismantling/shredding and remarketing operations for electronics recycling.By integrating electronics processing and remarketing with scrap metal recycling and precious metals refining, we’ve succeeded in our goal to provide our customers with a single source, full-service refining, recycling and reuse solution.

Tracking System
Our advanced computer network allows us to track every shipment received at our facilities – from arrival to payment. When a shipment is received, a unique control number is created and entered into our tracking system. Company policies and procedures are further in place to track employees who handle any particular shipment or asset.

Security
Our facilities are fully protected by security systems and are under constant video surveillance as well as on-site security personnel. Only Windfield Alloy Inc. employees have access to our facilities and all visitors must register upon arrival and be accompanied by an employee while on site.

Electronics Recycling
To protect customers’ legal liability and responsibly manage environmental risks, Windfield Enterprise Solutions conducts complete downstream traceability reviews of all sensitive materials. Our recycling practices meet the industry’s highest standard and maintains ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Certification from TUV SUD America Inc. for the environmentally responsible recycling of e-waste.

Data Destruction

We protect the identity and integrity of its customers and safeguards them against attempts of reuse or data recovery by removing all trace-of-origin identifiers on retired electronic equipment. We ensure the elimination of sensitive data and intelligence from a wide range of equipment. To this end, we can supply customers with data destruction reports that confirm the service was rendered.

Remarketing
We help enterprises reclaim the maximum value from resellable electronic equipment by working with them to identify the right channels including end-user, reseller or wholesale markets in domestic or foreign markets. Our professional team assists organizations by developing custom programs that best fit that organization’s individual and specific needs.

Precious Metal Recovery
We help customers maximize the recovery of precious metal scrap metals through a chemical-based refining process. Certified as a B4 Level III Hazardous Waste Recycling refiner, we use chemical processing to recover gold, silver, and platinum group metals from various encapsulated, clad, and plated material and all processes result in “zero discharge” recovery. To determine values of recovered group metals, we offer sample analysis services. Assay is achieved through atomic spectrometry or fire assay.
