Lakehead Scrap Metal has been in the recycling business for over 30 years and installed northwestern Ontario’s first and only automobile shredder in 1985. We operate a fully integrated recycling facility and purchase a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap from a variety of customers ranging from individuals with one or two items to manufacturers generating a broad range of industrial scrap. We provide recycling service throughout northwest Ontario as far west Ft. Frances and east to White River. Our quick, safe and efficient service has made us the destination of choice for our dedicated group of longstanding clients.
