Marketing

At our large facility strategically placed in the industrial hub of the Greater Toronto Area, state-of-the-art equipment is used to process both ferrous and non-ferrous metals to industry specifications. The scrap is then shipped to mills and foundries in both Canada and the United States.Scrap Metal is a commodity and on occasion represents up to 50% of the customer's raw materials. Abatement and Remediation

Thomson Demolition provides reliable abatement services following all strict requirements for safety. Allow our trained professionals to properly remove any asbestos, etc. with our specialized equipment.  Thomson Demolition offers remediation services including transporting hazardous and non-hazardous soil and industrial and construction waste. In addition to demolition of structures on the site, often decades of contamination must be dealt with. Understanding regulations, drainage requirements, and soil remediation methods are important in achieving a successful outcome.

Thomson Waste Transfer

Thomson Waste Transfer Station is a Hamilton based subsidiary that was launched in 2001. The Waste Transfer Station handles industrial, commercial and residential dry waste materials and is also home to the rail siding facility.

Thomson Waste Transfer Station is a facility where waste is unloaded from collection vehicles and briefly held while it is reloaded onto larger long-distance transport vehicles or rail cars for shipment. By combining the loads of several individual waste collection trucks into a single shipment, clients save money on the labour and operating costs of transporting waste to a distant disposal site.
