William Reisner Corporation-Clinton,MA
33 Elm St, Clinton, Massachusetts, United States | Memberships : ISRI
Started around 1891, William Reisner was picking up scrap metal with a horse drawn wagon. Today his company has one of the most well known and productive logistics departments in New England.William’s Sons, David and Harold, took over the reins from their Father after the Second World War and modernized the company into one of the first Globalized Dealers of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metal in the area. With a Rail Road spur that holds up to 15 rail cars in the yard at one time, WRCO can reach Domestic Mills and Foundries with its products that other Recyclers cannot, giving us an advantage on better pricing with lower freight costs. After Dave’s passing in 1980, his son Bill Reisner became President and began his tenure by purchasing one of the largest steel processing machines in the country at that time, a 1600 ton guillotine hydraulic Harris shear, which enabled the company to handle and process demolition and other large steel items in a more cost effective manner.Specializing primarily in the handling of Industrial scrap metal, the William Reisner Corporation has become the service leader in New England for container pick up and processing of any scrap metal an Industrial Company might produce.

Facility and Equipment
The William Reisner Corporation is one of New England’s oldest metal recyclers. With over 25 acres of facilities and storage, WRCO has the ability to store and process several thousand tons of scrap metal per month. At WRCO, we can handle a wide variety of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap from large demolition projects, to household appliances, down to turnings and chips.
Our nonferrous department uses a Harris HRB baler to bale aluminum scrap and cardboard. Our warehouse has a uniquely designed shaker separation table that allows our workers to stand in an upright position to sort and grade material, thus preventing possible back injuries.
The steel processing operation consists of several hydraulic grapple and magnet cranes for processing and loading. We use a Harris baler for processing light gauge steel into compact bundles for the domestic steel mills and foundries and we have our Harris shear that actually uses 1600 tons of cutting force to cut steel into a prepared state.
Our facility has the equipment, manpower and experience to safely process and ship just about any ferrous or nonferrous metal. We have the equipment to process most types of incoming material, some of which include:
- Harris BSH1605 Shear
- Ferrous Harris TG1218 Baler
- NonFerrous Harris HRB8 Baler
- Labounty MSD100
- Labounty MSD116
