Capital City Recycling was started in 2006 to focus on recycling for Commercial Accounts.  Since 2006, Capital City Recycling has grown and has become a strong and reputable player in the Commercial Markets.

It has always been a goal of the company to take the same level of care and attention to our customers and bring it to the public.  We have always believed that Convenience, Service, and Pricing were the keys to creating a successful Public Recycling Center.  We are happy to announce that we have finally opened up our first Recycling Center that is open to the General Public.

We are conveniently located off both the I-80 and Capitol City Expressway on Longview Dr. between Roseville Rd and Watt Ave.  No matter where you’re going to or coming from, we are sure to be your most convenient recycling center destination.

SERVICE

Our daily focus is to provide the city’s most friendly and efficient recycling service.  We are the only recycling center in Sacramento to offer Drive-Thru recycling that is indoors and that protects you from Sacramento’s hot summers and wet winters.

Capital City Recycling is your Sacramento recycling specialist!  We are a full service public recycling center that is here to serve you.  We offer two types of services to our customers:

PUBLIC DROP-OFF

We offer our customers the cleanest, most organized, and most efficient location for bringing all of your recyclable items.
We have an indoor Drive-Thru facility that allows you to drive into our facility to drop off your items.
Our service oriented employees will help you offload your materials and help you maximize the value of your items!

COMMERCIAL PICK-UP SERVICE

We offer commercial account pick-up services for our business customers.
We will provide your business with scrap bins for recycling all of your metals. Just give us a call when you are ready for a pickup and we will be at your business within 24 hours.
We have scrap bins to accommodate recycling intervals ranging in sizes as small as 4×4 scrap bins to 6 yard containers to 40 yard roll-off bins. Whatever your need, we have the solution!

  • TIN: Patio furniture, bicycles, roofing sheet, metal siding, BBQ’s, metal studs / framing, metal fencing, and more.
  • STEEL: Engine blocks and parts, brake rotors, steel pipe, structural steel, exercise weights and equipment, and more.
  • APPLIANCES: – Refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, laundry machines, treadmills, and more.  

NON-FERROUS METALS

  • COPPER BARE: Copper sheet, copper pipe, motor windings, ballast copper, etc.
  • COPPER INSULATED WIRE: Copper (insulated Wire) THHN (Commercial wiring), ROMEX, extension cords, welding leads, bologna cords, christmas lights, appliance cords, network / communication wire (CAT 3, 5, 6), phone cords, charger cords, car harness wire, etc.
  • COPPER (MISCELLANEOUS): Aluminum Copper Radiators, electric motors, starters, alternators, ballasts, sealed units / AC Compressors, etc.
  • BRASS: Brass pipe, brass faucets, brass water spigots, brass decorative items, brass ammunition, etc.

  • ALUMINUM CANS: Soda cans and beer cans.
  • BI-METAL: Beer cans from specific manufacturers (Ex: Sapporo).
  • GLASS: Beer bottles and soda bottles.
  • #1 PET: Single serving water and sports drinks. Identified by a #1 with a triangle around it.
  • #2 HDPE: Milk jugs, water jugs, juice containers, detergent and oil bottles. Identified by a #2 with a triangle around it. All detergent and oil bottles must be clean and free of residue.
  • #3, #4, #5, #6, & #7 Plastic Containers:  California redemption containers only.  Identified by a #3, #4, #5, #6 or #7 with a triangle around it.

E-WASTE

  • E-WASTE: Printers, routers, VCR’s, stereos, DVD players, and other consumer electronics. (These items have no monetary value, but we will recycle them for you.)
  • TELEVISIONS: Cathode Ray Tube (CRT), Plasma, LCD, and LED televisions.
  • PC TOWERS / DISK DRIVES: Computers, disk drives, and motherboards. 

OTHER

  • CATALYTIC CONVERTERS: All types of catalytic converters. (Requires vehicle registration or title from vehicle to show proof of ownership.)
  • BATTERIES: Car batteries, PowerWheel batteries, battery back-up units (UPS), and other types of lead acid batteries. (We do not accept Individual household batteries.)
