Computerized Tracking

Our custom-designed computer software tracks every stage of the scrap metal process. It starts by creating a specific tracking number for each specific pickup, triggered by the call to dispatch a truck. From that moment on, the bill of lading, the pickup slip, the scale ticket, the payment invoice and the cheque issued to you are all logged in the system under the same tracking number. This creates a fully transparent way for you to see how your scrap is being weighed, valued and paid quickly. That step-by-step tracking record can be made available to you at any point in the process.

Mobile Purchasing Truck

Our mobile purchasing service comes right to your work place and picks up your non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, lead, stainless steel, brass, catalytic converters, auto batteries, etc.) and pays you on the spot. This saves you the time and energy of having to deliver the material on your own. The urbanmine mobile service comes equipped with scales and friendly purchasers.

There are a few items we cannot accept. They include:
