We are a worldwide scrap metal recycler with processing facilities located in Dallas, Houston, Fort Worth, Gainsville and Liberty, Texas. We broker and offer recycling services of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico: between the Appalachian mountains and the Rockies.Our 300 employees process and trade over 28,000 tons of scrap metal each month. The majority of the scrap flows through our main processing yards in Dallas and Houston. There it is sorted and processed.

For nearly twenty years in Houston, and thirty-seven years in Dallas, we have always made community involvement a major priority. Spectrum purchases all ferrous and nonferrous products: copper, brass, aluminum, steel, insulated wire, stainless steel, radiators, nickel, alloys, iron, lead, and titanium metals. Non-metallic items accepted include cardboard and some plastics. Spectrum follows all government compliances as well as environmental responsibilities. Due to maintaining a safe and healthy environment, Gold Metal will not accept any hazardous, explosive, or flammable materials. Sealed containers such as gas tanks and fire extinguishers must present an opening to ensure cleanliness. Materials with gas, oil, or refrigerants will not be accepted.
