Quantum’s Quality Assurance is the best in the business. We sort and test inbound materials for alloy purity, moisture content and contaminants. And to ensure consistent quality, double inspections are standard with each sorting process prior to quality-control testing. Our lab is equipped with the latest technology to test chemistry, density, moisture and contamination.

ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT

At Quantum Metals, we recognize your downstream liability and we strive to maintain our reputation as a reliable handler. That’s why continuous monitoring programs are in place as we focus on not just meeting but exceeding local, state and federal regulations.

We minimize environmental impact by using non-traditional and energy-efficient processes and equipment. For example, we store and handle all materials inside our 100,000-square-foot facility. We even constructed a high bay so that dump trucks can unload in a protected environment, and we have created a shelter so open-top roll-off boxes are sheltered from collecting rain water.

Our transportation staff is hazmat trained and endorsed, and we follow best management practices throughout the Quantum facility. Because of our commitment to environmental safety, we stay current through conferences, subscriptions to related publications and membership in the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industry (ISRI).

Security is a key factor in guaranteeing both environmental protection and integrity of product, so our facility is safeguarded by a state-of-the-art security system, with camera monitoring from a remote location, around the clock.
