Metalico Buffalo, Inc is one of the largest, most modern scrap metal processors in the Great Lakes region. Our goal is to help you convert your ferrous and non-ferrous metal into a profit center for you and your business.

We work to handle your scrap quickly, weigh it accurately, and move it into the recycling stream as fast as possible. At the same time, we protect our environment by handling your scrap metal according to the latest government regulations.

Each day we process every conceivable type of metal from aluminum to copper to steel to the catalytic converters from cars.

With a full-time environmental consultant on staff, Metalico Buffalo is committed to handling all scrap with careful attention to environmental concerns. This starts with our containers. We make regular checks to make sure there are no leaks or cracks. As trucks roll through our yard, we scan them for radioactivity.

Then as scrap is unloaded, any suspect loads first go onto concrete pads to isolate any potentially dangerous fluids. This also lets us separate water and oils, to eliminate any dangerous runoff. Finally, we invite DEC officials onto our site to help us upgrade and improve our scrap handling ability.
