American Paper Retriever

American Paper Recycling Corporation has purchased the assets of Abitibi Retriever who set up a program to recycle newsprint for their huge paper mill which unfortunately has shut down manufacturing newsprint. The new company is called American Paper Retriever and let me tell you a story:

 American Paper Retriever has over 900 accounts in New England, 1200 accounts in Chicago, and 2500 accounts in the state of Florida. As mentioned this business was once owned by a paper mill who unfortunately did not have enough newspaper customers to keep them running. The good news is that American Paper Recycling now the owner of American Paper Retrievers has many different mills to help set up a recycling program for the socially responsible people who want to recycle their goods from their garbage in their homes.In my home, I have four large grocery bags made from paper. One bag is for newspapers and junk mail and the other bag is for used beverage cans and the third bag is for plastic bottles also known as polyethylene (PET) and the fourth bag is for Cardboard Boxes and miscellaneous items that easily fill up my garbage bags which have real trash in it such as coffee filters, food waste, diapers, and non-recyclable items that are smelly and costly to take them to the landfill. My landfill is now charging me a $1.50 per bag and in order to dump at my landfill I have to use their bags. I know many of you have the same situation.

American Paper Retriever has two types of Bins that we strategically put into communities centers such as Supermarkets, places of worship, schools, and large companies that have employees who care about the environment.Above are two types of containers we will leave at your facility.

American Paper Retriever has over 25 local paper mills in the New England area. Some mills use newsprint to make new newspapers and others use newsprint combined with corrugated to make Kraft bags that eventually turn into grocery bags. The Plastic waste comes through our plant and gets processed and shipped to Trex to make recycled plastic decking and all of the used beverage cans that are aluminum get sent to smelters in Illinois that turn this into more beverage cans or aluminum type products.At American Paper Retrievers we are willing to put up to four containers for each of the above products News, OCC, PET, and used beverage cans depending on the volume that your organization generates or we can simply leave one container that would take mostly your newspapers and you can put the other commodities in that bin. We have strategically dispatched three trucks to do an incredible job providing impeccable service. If these bins are filled the large ones take 14 to make a truckload and it comes back to our plant, is sorted out, and then goes out to pick up 14 more containers. Three trucks times six trips each day equates to 18 pickups with 4 trucks each and every day including weekends.

Based on the volume you generate American Paper Retriever gives back rebates that could be a good source of income to your community center or business. On a quarterly basis if you generate 100 tons we will pay you $5.00 per ton or if you generate 200 tons the rebate would be $10.00 per ton over a quarterly basis. Some customers generate 300 tons and we will give them a premium of $15.00 per ton over a quarterly basis.Are you One of these Centers of the Community that would make the people who visit you weekly very happy to have a place to bring their newsprint, corrugated, used beverage cans, and plastic?? Recycling is only one part of this equation and buying products made from recycled paper is very important such as egg cartons, paper grocery bags instead of plastic, detergent in paper boxes rather than plastic, and many other things once you keep your eyes open.
