Plastics Industry Association Kicked off Inaugural National Plastics Conference in Houston, Texas

Houston, TX--The Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) kicked off its inaugural National Plastics Conference in Houston, Texas. The event officially started Monday, October 14 and runs through Thursday October 17. The National Plastics Conference, designed “by industry, for industry,” unites the entire plastics supply chain for industry-driven education, collaboration, and progress. Attendees from across the supply chain play an active role in shaping the future of the plastics industry, creating cutting-edge advancements, and building valuable connections that will propel their businesses and the industry forward. 

PLASTICS President and CEO Matt Seaholm opened the conference, telling attendees, “Because we represent the entire supply chain, we have a unique responsibility to bring the plastics industry together. The National Plastics Conference is an event ‘by the industry, for the industry,’ offering us a forum to build consensus, create a unified voice, and help foster a sense of community.  This conference will help all of us be better leaders and advocates for our industry and I’m excited to see individuals from across the supply chain convene to build a more sustainable plastics industry.”

With a dynamic array of formal and informal networking opportunities, the event is designed to connect attendees with colleagues, potential partners, and key decision-makers across the plastics value chain.
