The lead mine output totalled 3.727 million tonnes in January to October this year, compared with 3.674 million tonnes a year before.

The global lead mine supply is likely to record 1.7% growth this year to 4.54 million tonnes.
The refined lead metal production during this period has declined by 0.8%.
The lead mine output totalled 1.380 million tonnes in Jan-Apr’24, compared with 1.375 million tonnes a year before.
The global supply of refined lead metal is expected to exceed demand by 40,000 tonnes in 2024, ILZSG noted.
The lead inventories rose by 123kt to total 447kt at the end of the year, ILZSG report said.
The apparent usage is expected to rise in India, Mexico, Taiwan and Vietnam, but is likely to fall in the Republic of Korea.
The refined lead metal output declined by 0.7%, despite increases in China, India, Japan and Taiwan.
