Products Offered

Our primary focus is on large engines and diesel-powered generators from 50kW to 3 Megawatts. We specialize in Caterpillar, Cummins, and Detroit sales and service, but also carry a wide range of other manufacturers such as Onan, Kohler, Allis Chalmers, Perkins, SDMO, Generac, and more, all viewable in our up-to-date Inventory of Generators. In addition to diesel products, we also buy and sell other types of generator sets, including natural gas, propane, and electric. We do not offer small home or RV generators. Company History

The company was established as Diesel Service & Supply in January of 1981.  Since that time, Generator Source has grown from a small 1,250 square foot one-man business, to a 14-acre industrial complex. Generator Source has full machine shop capabilities, overhead bridge cranes, a full-service multi-port garage, an experienced staff of the industry's top mechanics and technicians, the best testing equipment and de-installation tools, and a friendly and knowledgeable office staff that can assist you with all your industrial diesel and power generation needs.
 
In it’s 30-year history, Generator Source has supplied backup generators to organizations large and small.  Sprint, Wal-Mart, CITGO, Halliburton, Clear Channel Communications, the US Government, many farms, and the Denver International Airport are just a small sampling of our satisfied customers.

Leveraging the expertise of our technicians, Generator Source began offering in-house and field maintenance to Colorado and Southern Wyoming customers in 2017.  The company’s fleet of fully-equipped service trucks and load bank trailers helps technicians maintain and repair generators in any situation, from 20 kW up to 3 MW.  Generator Source’s rental generators can replace customer units during service or load banking.
