Contour was founded by Heath C. Hanna. After working in the construction/mining equipment business for nearly a decade, Heath formed Contour to fill the need for contractors focused on mining projects in the Southeast.

With a dedication to safety, employees and the client, Contour is poised to forge a new standard in the mining/site development industries. Our growth and longevity will be tied to our relentless pursuit of efficiency.

Contour is headquartered in Columbia, SC and is positioned to mobilize on any project in the Southeast. We are currently a licensed specialty General Contractor with Unlimited Status in South Carolina and North Carolina. We are bonded for jobs in excess of $20,000,000. We are a GDOT approved contractor. Contour is also authorized to perform mining projects anywhere in the continental United States.

Utilizing the latest technological advancements in the industry, Contour is able to capitalize on the efficiencies gained from; Topcon GPS guided equipment, Trimble estimating software and mobile office workstations. Our President, Heath Hanna has consulted to the largest civil contractors in the Southeast to optimize their fleets for earthmoving production.

Now focused on growing the Contour team to join those contractors, he relies on his extensive knowledge within the industry. Appointed in 2015 by South Carolina Governor Nikki R. Haley to a three year term on the SC Mining Council, Heath utilizes his experience to produce advice on SC mining regulations. His depth of mining acumen has allowed him to build a team that can deliver large scale projects, quickly, while adhering to MSHA and OSHA regulations.
