Orea Mining is a leading gold exploration and development company operating in French Guiana, France with a portfolio of high-quality projects in a prospective and underexplored segment of the Guiana Shield in South America. Its mission is to develop gold deposits following the highest international standards for responsible mining.

Orea’s principal asset is a major interest in the Montagne d’Or Gold Deposit, which hosts NI-43-101 Proven and Probable Reserves of 2.75 million oz gold (54.11 million tonnes @ 1.58 g/t gold). The Feasibility Study completed in 2017 contemplates an open pit operation with average annual gold production of 237,000 oz over the first 10 years of mine life at an average grade of 1.73 g/t that results in an average AISC of US$749 per ounce. There is considerable potential to increase mine Reserves by infill and expansion drilling. Permitting is underway.

Concurrently, Orea is consolidating a portfolio of high-quality gold exploration projects. A 5,000 metre core drilling program is planned on the Maripa Gold Project in 2020.
