Dunham Products, Inc.

7400 Northfield Road, Walton Hills, Ohio, United States | Steel/Iron

History

Dunham Products was founded in 1946 by Joseph F. Klukan, Sr. in a small two-car garage. Equipped with a thread roller and his expert mechanical skills, Klukan began handling overflow work from his employer during World War II, producing studs for the aircraft fuel pump industry. After the war ended, Dunham maintained this symbiotic relationship and continued to expand. In 1948, Joseph constructed a building to house the growing company on Dunham Road, for which the company is named.

Joseph F. Klukan, Sr. built Dunham Products on one simple, but seemingly rare, principle: give the customer more than they expect by going the extra distance to exceed their expectations. Since its founding, Dunham Products has been unwavering in delivering uncompromised quality and value to each and every customer.

A tradition of strength runs deep in the DNA and culture of the company, thanks to the incredibly inventive and innovative mechanical, production and engineering talent in our facility, honed through years of experience. Today, Dunham Products is led by the third generation of the Klukan family, but the goal remains the same: to get it done. It’s The Dunham Way.

From our humble beginnings in a cramped two-car garage to our modern 40,000 square foot facility, we’re proud to say that our alma mater is Old School, and there’s nothing wrong with that. In fact, it’s a darn good school!

We are passionate about quality

Dunham Products has built its reputation on strength, and performs every project with the highest levels of quality possible. We’re so passionate about quality that we wanted objective third party certifications to illustrate our level of commitment to quality.

ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization has demonstrated its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Dunham Products is also government-certified for class 2 and 3 threaded fasteners.

The higher the class number, the tighter the fit. Classes 2A and 2B balance fastener performance, manufacturing, economy, and convenience. Around 90% of all commercial and industrial fasteners are Class 2. Classes 3A and 3B are close tolerance fasteners and are intended for situations where safety is a critical design consideration. The “A” designates an external thread, and “B” designates an internal thread.
