Our Roots

Propell operates under its parent company, TYCROP, an industrial product creation company founded in 1978 by Gary and Elaine Teichrob. Based out of Rosedale, British Columbia, Canada, TYCROP has developed mobile equipment solutions for on and off road applications in agriculture, transport, mining, forestry, golf and turf, and energy. In 2008 TYCROP leveraged the culmination of their experience to design, engineer, and manufacture the new standard in pressure pumping which was the birth of Propell. The success of this product and the strength of our customer partnerships led us to innovate a broader variety of oilfield equipment.

In 2013 Propell designed a new strategy for equipment refurbishment and built a dedicated facility for equipment renewal in Calgary. The Propell Calgary facility has a state of the art testing pad and other advanced amenities, which allows that location to focus on refurbishment of oilfield equipment. In 2017 Propell continued its expansion into the United States by acquiring a new location in Granbury, TX. The Propell Granbury facility quickly began growing and works closely with the Rosedale headquarters on the completion of new equipment, as well as specializes in coiled tubing units and the renewal of equipment.

The Propell story is a decade young and continues to grow.
