Idaho Gold Mining: I thoroughly enjoy interacting with fellow miners and prospectors, who have the same passion for recovering those minerals like I do. There is something about getting out in the field pulling color out of the ground and showing excellent return for my effort. To introduce myself properly, my name is Jason, I have been mining full time now for many years. As a fifth generation miner & mineral explorer, some would say my blood is equal parts plasma and metal ore (well, not really). Have been rock-hounding since I could hobble around and pick up rocks that caught my eye. I started out like many with just getting into this recreationally as a fun hobby, but as experience, understanding and that passion for mining grew, it has become my life now for over a decade.

Further experience:

• 35 years of actual prospecting (which doesn’t include the first 5 years being taught by that geologist of a father saying “what is this called?”)
• 25 years experience in engineering, surveying, writing legals, plotting and managing various construction and mineral resource projects & operations
• 18 years ownership, management and maintaining lode and placer claims
• 12 years solely working in the mining field full time

With those that contact me, my goal is to know the client’s needs, so that I can find the best suitable site, that may match their specific interests, needs, and is more closely geared around the type of equipment or future operations they intend to set up. I’m not here to offer camping spots, areas to hunt or fish on, my focus is on providing the best possible mineral deposits sites that are available…all of those other features just are added bonuses if they happen to be on or around the claim. With all of our clients that we have worked with over the years, I also assist, and offer guidance on their mining or filing needs…”Jason, I forgot to file in time”…haha, I hear those calls every fall. :o) And that is okay, for all my clients, I do provide free services, assisting them with the proper documents and guidance to walk you through recapturing your claim…but don’t dally, as these are great sites that others may want.
