Pitbull Industrial Pumps
822 Schneider Drive South, Elgin, Illinois, United States | Equipment Brokers
Pitbull Pumps was founded in 1990 as the Chicago Industrial Pump Company (CIPC) by Matt Vetter, and today manufactures industrial pumps for a wide variety of applications. Matt invented the Pitbull Pump after identifying the pumping conditions that were poorly addressed with conventional submersible pump designs. Matt’s customers needed pumps that could handle debris, abrasive particles, and corrosives. But, centrifugal and diaphragm pumps were either over-engineered to be capable of the task or, their impellers, seals and diaphragms repeatedly failed, requiring repairs or replacement far too often to be the ‘best’ solution.
