This fuel-efficient, clean countergravity casting process reduces shell material and floor space requirements by up to 70 percent and mold-heating energy by 87.5 percent by eliminating the need for large burnout furnaces. By significantly reducing shell casing and heat energy, the process also reduces waste and emissions.
