OUR HISTORY

OUR ORIGINS

Acier Nordfab inc. opened its doors in Saint-Jérôme in 1977 under the business banner Les Entreprises Yves Lanthier. In a 7,500 sq. ft. factory, the company was able to carve out a niche in the steel industry.

For nearly 30 years, Mr. Lanthier participated in the growth of his company by working hand in hand with his clients and his team of experienced professionals.

OUR EVOLUTION

In 2007, Mr. Jean-François Charron assumed leadership and ownership of the company. A member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec for nearly 20 years and originating from a family of steel industry entrepreneurs, Mr. Charron upholds the company’s legacy while developing new markets.

In September 2010, responding to growing client demands, Acier Nordfab acquired a building spanning close to 35,000 sq. ft. located in the Saint-Eustache industrial park. This modern manufacturing plant increased production capacity while reducing delivery time.
