Tennessee Precision Inc. is a company that has been manufacturing precision can tools and spare parts for the two piece and three piece can industry since 1984. Steve Reynolds, owner and current president of Tennessee Precision Inc. started his career in 1973 with Carmet in their carbide tooling division.

Mr. Reynolds worked his way to a floor supervisors position where he had the hands on experience of making and managing the production of Cupper, Bodymaker, Trimmer, Printer/Decorator, Internal Coater, Die Necker, Flanger and Reprofile/Reform tooling and spare parts. Mr. Reynolds hands on experience led him to start Tennessee Precision Inc. in 1984 and he has been manufacturing top quality tooling and spare parts ever since.

Our Facilities

We have a machining division that is an 8,000 square ft. facility that can produce anything from prototype projects to high production runoffs. Our grinding, EDM, inspection and shipping departments are in a 13,000 square ft. facility that is temperature controlled to assure that superior quality and consistency is what our customers get from our tooling. We hold tolerances of less than .0001 on a daily basis and in certain applications we hold less than one micron. When holding these tolerances, it is very critical that we keep the tooling that we are manufacturing in a stable environment to help control thermal conditions.
