Oceanic Iron Ore Corp. (Oceanic) is a Canada-based exploration-stage company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition and exploration of iron ore properties in Quebec, Canada. The Company is focused on the development of the Ungava Bay iron property (the Property) in Nunavik, Quebec. The Property consists of three project areas: Hopes Advance, Morgan Lake and Roberts Lake, which cover over 300 kilometers of iron formation and are located within 20 to 50 kilometers of tidewater. The Company has interest, subject to a 2% net smelter returns royalty (NSR) in the Property. Its properties consist over 3,703 claims over its three project areas, which are located over 1,568 square kilometers along the northern extension of the Labrador Trough in the Nunavik Region of northern Quebec. The Company is focused on continuing its development of the Hopes Advance project through a feasibility study and environmental assessment, as well as securing a partner for the Hopes Advance project.
