Coal Creek Company

The Coal Creek Company, established in 1872, currently owns over 72,000 acres in East Tennessee located in Anderson, Campbell, Morgan and Roane Counties. The company’s corporate headquarters are in Knoxville, Tennessee. Coal Creek, through its contractors and lessees, is involved in the development of natural resources including timber, coal, oil and natural gas.

Coal Creek has two subsidiaries, Coal Creek Ventures, Inc. and Windrock Properties, LLC. Coal Creek Ventures, Inc. actively manages the Windrock Trail System which encompasses over 300 miles of off highway vehicle roads and trails.
