The company provides trading, processing and transportation to the ferrous and non-ferrous recycling industry. Universal Recycling operates 2 facilities in Industria Johannesburg and a processing facility in Vanderbijlpark, 50 kms South of Johannesburg. Universal Recycling sources material from the local manufacturing industry, tenders, auctions, scrap metal dealers and local authorities, as well as public suppliers. We specialise in the processing of 'complex scrap' such as electronic scrap (WEEE), used electrical appliances,irony contaminated aluminium, aircraft scrap and any end-of-life metallic material containing a mix of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as inorganics such as paper, plastic and wood. The company has a long tradition of trading in most of the Southern African countries including Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
