History

Bearon Manufacturing, LLC originated in 1980 as Keystone Enterprise, supplying machined components for shipbuilding and commercial applications. From 1985 to 1992 the company included New Holland Brass, Bronze and Aluminum which provided brass and aluminum sand castings for a wide range of manufacturing industries.

The company began operating as Bearon Corporation effective in 1989. In 1994, the machining operation moved from Wrightsville, PA to the Greenfield Corporate Center in Lancaster Pennsylvania to accommodate continued growth.

Penn El Service Co. in West Chester, PA, was acquired by Bearon in 1997 to supplement the existing operation with the production and sales of cable fittings and packing for naval ships.

In 2000, Bearon acquired B&B Machine in Manheim, PA. B&B was an established CNC machine shop which supplied the additional capacity needed to support the expanding sales to a diverse customer base.

In 2003, a new, fully air conditioned, 35,000 square foot building was constructed at the Manheim, PA location. This expansion allowed all facilities to be consolidated at one location. That same building currently houses 26 CNC machines, specially built equipment for specific applications, PVC forming equipment and naval packing production.

In April of 2013, Bearon was acquired by DVCC, Inc., a global industrial holding company based in Chestertown, Maryland, consisting of Dixon Valve & Coupling Company and numerous other manufacturing facilities.

Components supplied by Bearon Manufacturing, LLC are found on ships, traffic control equipment, pumps, trucks and buses, farm equipment, medical equipment and even on horse drawn carriages. Bearon’s greatest asset is the employee’s years of experience in the casting and machining industry.
