Niagara Structural Steel is a well-established fully integrated steel fabricator, engaged in structural steel fabrication, as well as the manufacturing of line towers and the fabrication of communication towers. Corporate History

Niagara Structural Steel was founded in 1950 as a private company engaged in the fabrication of structural steel for buildings. In the 1960’s Niagara Structural Steel became a public company and continued as such, until the business was acquired by Canadian Erectors Limited in October of 1987.

Canadian Erectors Limited is a private multi-division Canadian Corporation with locations across Canada and in the United States. All divisions are engaged in the fabrication, distribution and construction sectors of the steel industry.

Canadian Erectors Limited is a financially strong corporation which has enabled Niagara Structural Steel to maintain a facility which is currently state of the art with respect to its investment in top rated fabrication equipment. All key machine centres are CNC, and the shop is fully serviced by overhead cranes and a full complement of burning and welding equipment.

The plant and offices for Niagara Structural Steel are located in St. Catharines, Ontario in a facility shared with a sister division, TIW Steel Platework Inc., also part of the Canerector Group of Companies.
