Company History

Miscellaneous Iron Fabricators was originally founded in 1966 with the primary business of fabricating steel handrails, stairs, and various small (miscellaneous) projects for both industrial and residential customers. Since that time the company has grown steadily and now includes fabrication and erection of structural steel projects, with metal craftsmen employed full time. The company continues today, based on the traditions set forth by its founders, as Rotterdam Steel, LLC DBA Miscellaneous Iron Fabricators. Our employee retention rate is excellent and 80% of our employees have been in the business for over twenty years.
