Rich Kramer Construction

Rich Kramer grew up in the construction business.  So did his brother, Bob, and their father, Charles before them.  Rich Kramer Construction has it’s roots in the small, family operated construction company started in the early 1930’s by Louis Kramer, the grandfather of Rich Kramer.  A carpenter by trade, he started the business to support his family, and to give his sons a future.

The business grew in size and expertise in Iowa for many years before being relocated to Springfield in 1991 by Rich, his father and brother.  Rich had worked in the area with other companies for several years since moving to Springfield in the early 1980’s.

The diversity of business opportunities and an already established strong client base in Springfield made this area an attractive choice for relocation.  Rich Kramer’s contacts and previous reputation were instrumental in allowing the new company to quickly establish a market presence, primarily in steel erection and the sale and construction of pre-engineered metal buildings.

By the turn of the century, RKC had become a well established, full service general contractor.   In May, 2002, RKC moved into it’s new three-building complex on North Miller Road in west Springfield, signifying it’s commitment to the Springfield and Southwest Missouri area.

RKC has become one of the major construction companies in the Springfield area.  They look forward to continued growth by serving an expanding customer base with high quality, personalized construction services.
