Island Metal Craft Railings

Island Metal Craft has served many of its customers since 1968 in Victoria and continues to do so as Island Metal Craft Railings out of Sidney. We are fortunate to count quite a few contractors and homeowners alike as repeat customers, which seems to indicate that we may have done something right.

Since 1968 we supplied wrought iron work to many residential and commercial projects in the greater Victoria area. Beginning 1974 we offered aluminum railings to our customer base, quite a novelty back then. 10 years later, due to the growing popularity of this 'novel' product, 65% of our work was done in powder coated aluminum. Today the benefits of aluminum are well known and represent about 95% of our sales, we still fashion some items in iron, stainless steel or brass and we can incorporate in house custom machined parts.

The original Island Metal Craft location and Company name in Victoria is now independently operated by Tim and Chris Christensen since 2016 and provides structural steel, shear and press brake service.

Our primary products are:

Aluminum Picket railings and Glass railings in many standard and custom styles for residential and commercial projects including engineered open or topless glass railings systems.

We also fabricate and install Drive way gates complete with Automatic gate operators.

All our products are fabricated from high strength alloys, carefully fitted, welded and finished before powder coating. We work with architects and builders to make their clients projects become a reality.

If it can be designed and drawn up, then it usually can be fabricated.
