What's New at Fab Metal, LLC

Fab Metal, LLC has installed a new fully integrated operating system. Exact Software’s JobBoss is a system designed specifically for mechanical contract manufacturers. It has bar code capability to check jobs in and out at each workstation. It also has inventory control, job scheduling, purchasing, and accounting features.

Our new NTC laser is up and running at full speed. The NTC TLN-510 3-Axis Laser System with dual pallets and PRC 3300-watt laser oscillator. We are cutting carbon steel and stainless steel up to ½' thick.

Joining the laser in our fabrication shop is the new Hyd-Mech S20A Automatic Band Saw.

The welding department is pleased to announce the addition of our new robotic Fusion Arc Welding Cell. The welding cell is modified with OTC/Daihen Almega AX-V6L robot with DR400 pulse welder. This is the right machine for those complicated weldments.

Fab Metal, LLC was established in 1992 to help customers with turn key products from concept to production...specializing in close-tolerance sheet metal, various plastics, machined parts, weldments, and instrumentation enclosures. Fab Metal, LLC is a full service shop offering a quick-turn prototype / production line. Volume production is also available.

We work with customers from all segments of business. Currently we are working with customers from Medical, Homeland Security, Military, Electronic Instrumentation, and Nuclear fields.

Company History

Fab Metal, LLC began in the summer of 1992 with five employees. Initially formed as a partnership, the company emerged with an initial goal to provide a full range of high quality fabricated parts and assemblies to the small and mid sized manufacturing firms. In June of 1997, the company was chartered as a Limited Liability Corporation with Lynn Lowe as the Owner and President. Over the ensuing years, Fab Metal, LLC has grown steadily in size and capability. During that period the company formed many lasting relationships with those first customers, many of which have had considerable growth themselves (one early customer going from a couple of employees, in a garage, to a large company with over 600 million dollars in annual sales). Our customers have put Fab Metal, LLC ’s parts into some of the most sophisticated scientific and diagnostic equipment in the world, including that of the NASA Space Program. Therefore, we take great pride in working with those customers and what these customers are accomplishing with our products.
