Legacy Steel

Legacy Steel has been formed from the nearly 60 years of steel and precast experience of its leadership team. Jeff Leeuw, President of Legacy Steel, served for many years as Vice President of Steel and Precast for Lamar Construction.

Legacy’s Team

Jeff Leeuw serves as Legacy Steel’s president. Wade Walcott is general manager, overseeing Legacy Steel’s projects and work crews. DJ Coke will take on the role of estimator and sales, much as he did for years at Lamar Construction. This leadership team oversees a field crew of 40 experienced Certified Crane Operators (CCO), foremen, surveyors, and steelworkers.

Beyond in-house and on-the-job training, Legacy Steel helps our team receive the certifications and training needed to ensure your project meets your expectations. Our team holds designations such as HILTI certification, Welding certification, aerial and forklift license, hoisting and rigging training, Hazwoper certification, and MIOSHA steel erection and fall protection training.
