Mr. Ron Gilbert organized Apache Building Systems in the state of Texas in 1989. At the time of the company’s creation, Mr. Gilbert was owner, salesman, and builder, constructing quality portable buildings, decks, and gazebos. Even at this early stage of the company’s history, the customer always came first, and it did not take long for Apache Building Systems to build a base of clientele, which even to this day represents a significant portion of repeat business.

In 1997, Mr. Gilbert incorporated the business in the state of Texas, changing its name from Apache Building Systems to Apache Construction, Inc. As the company has grown over the past fifteen years, with Mr. Gilbert now serving as president of the company, no one is above taking the time to listen to our customers and then taking the actions necessary to serve the customers needs before, during, and after construction. The agenda of the company has always been to give the customer what they want and build a long lasting, quality structure.

In the early 90’s Apache Construction Inc. was able to add to its product line our Timber Framed Metal Buildings (or TFM’s for short). These buildings comprise our “permanent” structures and are suitable for a number of applications, such as garages, workshops, barns, and even residences, just to name a few. We were also able to add metal Ag panel as siding and roofing for our portable buildings, which is uncommon in the portable building business, but remarkably attractive. At the same time were we able to add loafing sheds to the product line, and were able to expand upon the carport line.

In 1998, Apache Construction, Inc. added to its ranks Dustan Puckett as production manager. Mr. Puckett came to Apache Construction Inc. with 10 years experience in the field, and 800 to 900 timber framed buildings to his credit. With drafting design, light engineering, and strong organization skills, he has given us the ability to market one of the finest buildings in East Texas. Apache Construction, Inc. has had good fortune in finding highly qualified individuals who place the utmost pride in a job well done. We always like to build it likes it’s ours.
