Company History

Cherokee Steel Fabricators, Inc. began operations in 1974 as a family owned business and has continued that tradition through today, becoming a well respected and established leader in the steel fabrication industry.

Over the years, with high quality work and careful investing, we’ve been able to increase our revenues, capabilities, services offered, and plant size. Our facility includes a 46,000 square foot plant equipped with modern equipment and our shop employment varies between 25-50 people based on monthly bookings.

As Cherokee Steel has evolved, we have specialized in providing fabrication services to the petrochemical, refining, electrical power, marine, and other industrial customers, and, we have a long history of supplying steel to the Turnaround, Repair/Maintenance, engineers and planners in the Texas processing plants. In addition we have furnished fabricated products for several major capital projects.

All fabrication, welding procedures, inspection and testing is performed per AISC/AWS/ASME codes and practices.
