Ganawa is a custom steel fabricator primarily specializing in products for the bridge construction industry for over 20 years. We specialize in an expansive range of products and services including expansion joints and bridge components, custom steel fabrication.

Company History

Since our inception in 1991 as a supplier of expansion joints for bridges to general contractors in Ontario, Ganawa has evolved into a full-service supplier for the bridge construction industry as well as a variety of other structural steel market places.

Our experience has ranged from side shifting a large steel truss bridge to allow staged construction at Frog Rapids on Hwy 72 near Sioux Lockout to constructing components of Canada’s largest precast concrete girder launching gantry for the Perley Bridge project.

We assure efficiency in time and costs without ever sacrificing quality and workmanship, a principle that guides the design and manufacturing of all our products. With persistent dedication and commitment towards each new project, we continue to explore unique methods to solve our clients’ specific needs.

Facility

Ganawa is located at 397 Frankcom Street in Ajax, Ontario.

Our facility consists of 18 000 sq ft. of fabrication floor space including bays with 5 and 10 ton lifting capacities. The facility is also equipped with an array of fabrication equipment enabling us to fabricate any steel structure up to 15 tons. Our in-house waterjet profile cutting machine and large shop capacity allows us to work on multiple large projects simultaneously.
