Duct Fabricators, Inc.

With the untimely passing of both John Sickle Sr. & Steven Haydu (1983 & 1975 respectively), ownership was conveyed to John's wife and business co-founder Charlotte Sickle. Currently Charlotte serves as chairman of the board and leads the business with eldest daughter Patricia McElroy (CEO) and eldest son John Sickle Jr. (President).

As sub-contractors, Duct Fabricators, Inc. has successfully completed many large H.V.A.C. sheet metal projects in the northern Ohio area some of which include the Society Tower, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Great Lakes Science Center and Gund Arena. Since 1990, Duct Fabricators, Inc. has been formally recognized and certified as a F.B.E. (Female Business Enterprise) by the City of Cleveland. This certification permits us to bid and perform work on various F.B.E. set aside projects.

Duct Fabricators, Inc. has been a long-standing member of SMACNA (Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association), which sets many of the standards that help to govern our industry and aid in assuring quality work. Our very own John Sickle Jr. was past president of the SMACNA Cleveland Chapter (1985 - 1994) and remains active by serving on various boards and committees for Cleveland SMACNA as well as with the Sheet Metal Industry Promotion Plan and the Joint Apprenticeship Training Program.
