The Bagit System family of products built around an initial safe, convenient, and highly cost-effective system for recycling office paper. Key to the success of the Bagit System used in more than a million recycling stations is its reusable bag which minimizes sorting and storage problems. The Bagit System is marketed to large institutional type recyclers, such as universities, the military, government, large campuses of wide description, commercial property managers and waste and recycling management firms. Because of this diverse distribution, Bagit System products are found nationwide in facilities from the largest to smallest.

Initially the Bagit System consisted only of a patented rack and reusable bag system designed to promote and facilitate office paper recycling. The product line has since grown to include reusable bags intended for recycling in multifamily, custodial, gardening and landscape, and public space, as well as commercial environments.
