Imperial Welding Ltd.

Imperial Welding Ltd. was founded in 1992. We originally started as a structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabrication shop in Victoria, BC. We moved to Chemainus, BC in 1995. We have been a member of the Canadian Construction Association since 1992 and are CWB registered.

Imperial Welding’s Courtenay division has been serving the Comox Valley for over 25 years. There is no welding or metal fabrication project we can’t handle. From large structural builds to fixing a kitchen chair, we can take care of it.

We are equipped with 2 shops and 2 portable welding units all of which enable us to quickly do more jobs of varying types than anyone else.

Imperial Welding in Courtenay, is a CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) certified welding and fabrication shop. All our welders are professionally trained and certified. We do all types of welding and work with all types of metals including mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum. We also stock a full range of materials for the customer who wants to do it themselves. If we don’t have it in stock, we can usually order it in for the next day.
