Profab Steel (1998) Ltd.

Profab Steel (1998) Ltd manufactures structural steel and miscellaneous metals for new construction and tenant improvements, specializing in structural steel for tilt-up concrete buildings. We currently have about thirty employees who work in our shop, in the field, and in the office. The newest addition to our staff is our own full-time Structural Engineer. We are now able to provide in-house design/build services and are well-equipped to handle a large variety of projects.

ProFab Steel has been in business for over 30 years. We opened our first shop in Port Kells, Surrey in 1988 and began manufacturing sawmill equipment. Five years later we moved to Langley and expanded into structural steel. Our business grew at a steady pace throughout the economic ups and downs.

In 1998 we restructured and became Profab Steel (1998) Ltd. We began specializing in supplying steel for tilt-up construction. Our business soon grew to the point where we needed to expand again. In October 2011 Profab moved back to Surrey into a brand new, custom-built facility in Campbell Heights, allowing us to take on larger projects which in turn has rapidly expanded our business. We are well-equipped to handle large projects, so much so that we are currently working on another expansion as we have already outgrown our current space.

Profab has a network of dependable suppliers for everything from bolts to joists, as well as close associations with reputable steel erectors. With our new in-house engineer, we are an excellent choice for all your commercial/industrial steel needs.
