Our Story

After completing his apprenticeship in 1964, Fred Mentze worked for 25 years in the sheet metal industry as a journeyman craftsman. In 1989 Fred started FM Sheet Metal Inc. He has taken his personal mission of high-quality, efficient and safe work, and high ethical standards and incorporated these values into a team-oriented corporation. Fred is a native of the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area and has been a consistent leader in the construction industry within the Northwest.

FM Sheet Metal Inc. is proud to be a signatory contractor of Sheet Metal Workers International Local #16 and United Association Local #290. Our company is comprised of highly trained and experienced sheet metal craftsmen.
