CNS Steel provides custom steel fabrication for metal buildings including roofing, siding, purlins, trim, and components. We are located in Tulare, California and serve the following cities: Visalia, Fresno, Bakersfield, Hanford, Lemoore and their surrounding communities.

HOW CNS STEEL DEVELOPED METAL BUILDING KNOW-HOW

THE DAD

Clint Russell’s father, KC, had a family farm in Traver, California. They farmed grapes and alfalfa. However, the main source of family support was KC’s construction business, which primarily focused on the agricultural industry. KC was well-known throughout the area for the quality of his metal building work and his integrity.

THE BOY

During his growing up years, Clint was his dad’s shadow. When Clint graduated high school in 1991, he began working in the metal building business full-time. Alongside his father, they kept busy putting up dairy barns and cattle shades.

THE MAN. THE WOMAN.

In 1997 Clint married Summer whom he met at a church camp in Colorado, and she became the newest Russell to join the family and the business. In 2010, Clint’s dad retired and Clint restructured as C Russell Construction.

As a contractor, Clint found it increasingly difficult to get quality metal building components along with good service. It seemed like whenever he placed an order, he was running into roadblocks. Even if it was just an order for small replacement metal sheets, he was often told there was a six week wait. Tired of the runaround, he and Summer founded CNS Steel in 2012.

The company was an immediate success. Almost daily, we heard, 'We’re so glad you’re here!' Customers were grateful for a local metal building supply resource with prompt and courteous service. They also appreciated Clint’s ag and design-build expertise, which saved them a lot of headaches and wasted money.

THE FUTURE

Clint and Summer enjoy the metal building supply business. In addition to their 17,000 square foot facility, they are building a new 36,000 square foot facility with plans for a third facility soon after. That means you can look forward to many years of reliable metal building panels, siding, accessories, and trim along with terrific service.
