Horizon Sheet Metal, Inc. was started in 1987 with an innovative vision to build an HVAC company second to none. Since that time, Horizon has grown from a small two-person operation into a complete HVAC facility. With a large work force committed to meeting the needs of an established and growing clientele, Horizon's strong reputation has endured the test of time, paving the way for continual expansion into the future. Sylvia Haun is the President, controller and majority stockholder of the corporation. She has been involved in the HVAC industry since 1980. She controls and manages the company's Hazard Communication Program. She is certified to train the 10 Hour Construction Outreach course, having obtained her certification by completing the Train-the-Trainer OSHA Course #500, and manages the company's safety program. In the early years, she did some estimating, submittals, and operation and maintenance manuals, along with all accounting operations. Now with the growth of the company, she oversees office management, office operations, employee management, safety training and shares the accounting duties with an assistant controller.

Asher Haun is the Vice President, General Manager and a stockholder of the corporation. He has been involved in the HVAC industry since 1966, ranging from starting as an apprentice in the trades, working as a journeyman, then a foreman, and then in 1980 advancing to management andIMGAbout2.jpg (4598 bytes) ownership of a previous company, that is still in business in another town. In addition to his general management duties, he also does estimating, project management, and manages our state certified apprenticeship program

The company has a great staff, consisting of an operations manager that directs the daily operations of the employees, as well as project manages. Our in-house Project Engineer, does all of our design build projects, and also does some project managing. We also have support personnel that handle all submittals, operation and maintenance manuals, and secretarial duties.
