Brief History

Realizing the needs of manufacturers for innovative, competitively priced products, DeJong began operations in the sheet metal fabrication and machining business. Innovation, to say the least, is one of the strongest forces within the DeJong organization. Starting the business with manual and automatic machines, the company soon realized that computer controlled machines were to be an integral part of this company's future. The introduction of computer controlled plasma cutting and turret punching was only the beginning of one of the most technologically advanced manufacturing facilities in the Midwest. This ever-expanding facility now has many high-powered computer controlled laser cutting and forming cells. Along with the additional support of CNC horizontal and vertical machining, plasma cutting, high speed turret punching, automatic sawing, robotic welding, hardware insertion, powder coating, and light assembly, DeJong now can support every requirement in a fabricated metal ISO compliant manufacturing plant.

DeJong's contracted metal fabricated parts can be found in many different industries, including construction, agriculture, recreational, food, transportation, industrial, and e-commerce, just to name a few.
