Superior Steel Products is a manufacturer of steel and aluminum storage tanks such as crude oil tankers, aviation fuel storage, fuel transportation tanks, fertilizer storage tanks, chemical transportation tanks and much more. Our products are used throughout the oil production, ag/fertilizer, chemical, fuel storage/transportation, mining and food/beverage processing industries.

We manufacture all forms of bulk storage and transportation tanks and vessels: DOT 406, 407, and 412 tanks, skid tanks, horizontal and vertical storage tanks, insulated tanks, double-wall tanks, pressure vessels and nurse tanks from mild steel, stainless steel or aluminum. Superior Steel Products also has an in-house professional civil engineer to design a tank that best fits your needs.

At Superior Steel, we also resell fiberglass tanks, poly tanks and Wheatland bins. We hold both ASME “U” and “R” Stamps with an active QA program, are authorized by ASME to perform Section VIII work and are UL 142 Listed.

OUR HISTORY

Located in Caldwell, Idaho, just west of Boise, Superior Steel was originally founded in 1991, and was purchased by Larry Questad in 1995.

Today, the company is owned and operated by P.L. Questad and Christian Questad, who purchased the business from their father in December, 2011.

Over the years, Superior Steel Products has gained a reputation across the country as a reliable, proven, and quality-driven supplier of bulk storage and transportation tanks for applications in numerous industries. And that is a trend that continues to this day.
