Tampa Tank Inc. was established in 1953 in Tampa, FL, where it is headquartered, and acquired Florida Structural Steel in 1984. As a diversified custom job shop of heavy steel fabrication weldments with more than 60 years in the business in Tampa supplying customers around the world, we have honed our expertise in providing complete design, shop fabrication, shipment, field erection, inspection and testing of welded steel products of nearly any size to customers’ specifications.

As a fully staffed and equipped EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) firm, TTI-FSS has the unique ability to tackle highly complex projects requiring very specific expertise and knowledge to maintain project work flow. Our team has years of experience integrating detailed just-in-time engineering design, project management, safety and quality control and supply chain logistics, which drives value for each and every client.

Our wholly owned subsidiary General Engineering Corporation (GEC) specializes in the field construction of both domestic projects requiring NTL Boilermaker labor, as well as international projects associated with steel plate structures, piping, structural steel and related equipment, often on a turnkey basis.
