The Early Days

D. M. Iannone, Inc. began in 1959 in the basement of the founding owner, David M. Iannone, Jr. As the business expanded Mr. Iannone required larger fabrication space and moved to its current location in Newport, DE. Incorporated in 1970, this family owned and operated business has continued to grow and thrive on its reputation for outstanding service and quality workmanship.

David Jr. (now retired) and David III have had the opportunity over the years to work with local artisans to create elaborate sculptures and inspiring works of art. Jobs of all sizes from the home owner needing a weld repair to multinational corporations requiring specialty fabrication have been a part of the success enjoyed by the Iannone family. Their attention to detail and customer satisfaction have been the cornerstones of success for more than 50 years, with integrity and honesty as its foundation.

Our Business Now

Due to careful planning and timely expansion over the years, this Delaware based small business has maintained low overhead, therefore, allowing the lower pricing to be passed to the customers. Since the beginning, D. M. Iannone, Inc. has depended on “hands on” operation, but the company has adapted to the technology age by adding all types of computer-aided equipment from the CNC plasma table to the digital back gauging on the shear and sheet metal brake to make the fabrication process that much more accurate.

The business has grown, largely in part, due to the diversity of fabricated items made by our talented staff. From the wrought iron handrails for our neighbor, to the specialty polished stainless steel hoods for commercial use, no job is too small or too large. Our skilled employees have proven time and again that “if you can sketch it, or even imagine it, we can make it”.
