We manufacture our tubular products at several U.S.-based facilities that produce high-quality tubular products with low-residuals in a wide range of strength levels with superior toughness.

Our standard and line pipe product ranges from 1.900” to 26” in outside diameter with a variety of end finishes, lengths, grades and wall thicknesses available. To ensure the highest quality, it is manufactured to API 5L, ASTM and ASME standards.

Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) manufactured by U. S. Steel Tubular Products are widely used across the global oil and gas industry. These products include proprietary tubulars and premium connections, as well as a complete range of API certified casing thread types. An advanced line of premium and semi-premium connections are specially designed for challenging oil and gas environments, including drilling conditions encountered in shale plays and other extended reach drilling applications.

Committed to providing our customers with the finest products, our oil country tubular goods are certified to API standards and are compatible with ISO 11960.

OCTG Premium Services

In addition to its industry-leading tubulars, U. S. Steel offers a comprehensive line of OCTG Premium Services to ensure your projects run smoothly from mill to well. Available services include API and premium threading and inspection, rig site services, licensed repair facilities and a host of proprietary tubing and casing accessories. All threading and OCTG inspection services can be performed at U. S. Steel’s state-of-the-art facility in Houston, Texas. Rig site services can be performed on a scheduled or an emergency basis on location or at nearby storage facilities.
