Statewide Steel, Inc. of Wasilla, Alaska is named as one of the Nations Top 200 Metal Building Contractors for 2001. Statewide Steel is the only Alaska Company to make it in the ranking this year.

Each year Metal Construction News recognizes the Nations top 200 Metal Building Contractors for the previous year.

In 2001 Statewide Steel, Inc. supplied 467 tons of steel building materials. The company continues to realize consistent growth with approximately 61% more volume in 2001 than in the year 2000. Statewide Steel is also a full service erection company as well as material supply.

Alaska has only one Contracting Firm, Statewide Steel, Inc. of Wasilla Alaska being recognized in the Top 200 Metal Building Contractors for 2001, selected from approximately 5,000 potential entries.
